MRC Aviation alluded to the anticipated departure of King Air 200 ZK-MAN (BB-1366) in a post last month when we reported the delivery to NZ of King Air 200GT N57BY, ex D-IBSH. ZK-MAN had been listed for sale and a NZCAA register transaction dated 27 July confirmed the aircraft's new operator to be Corporate Aircraft Charter of Adelaide.
Still under its ZK marks, the King Air made its way from Nelson to Auckland early this morning and is planned to depart for Lord Howe Island and Griffith.
ZK-MAN was built in 1990 and first flew as N777VG. It was imported to Australia as VH-IMP 2006 before taking up its ZK- marks on 20 September 2007 registered to Hawker Pacific.
The King Air was then delivered to Nelson on 13 February 2008 arriving from Bankstown via Lord Howe Island. Ownership was changed to Talleys Group Ltd on 01 July 2008 and then to the owners charter arm, Tasman Helicopters Above and Beyond/Tasman Aviation, three weeks later.
