Air New Zealand Boeing 767-300 ZK-NCG arrived back into Auckland from Hiroshima 01Aug as ANZ6022 following its charter flight from Darwin to Hiroshima the previous day.
Cessna Grand Caravan N208AE moved to Ardmore from Auckland 01Aug having arrived the previous day from Brisbane and Lord Howe Island. From Ardmore to Hamilton and back to Ardmore 02Aug, then to Gisborne 05Aug and onto Queenstown 06Aug. From Queenstown to Christchurch 08Aug where a local flight was then carried out. To Wellington, Paraparaumu, Wanganui and Ardmore 09Aug where the aircraft was then hangered with Flightline for maintenance check to be carried out. From Ardmore to Auckland 26Aug, then to Norfolk and Lord Howe Island’s 27Aug.
Air National Corporate Gulfstream 4SP ZK-KFB arrived into Auckland from Essendon 01Aug, then to Wellington 02Aug. From Wellington to Christchurch and Auckland 08Aug. From Wellington to Auckland 10Aug, then from Wellington to Auckland 14Aug. From Auckland to Essendon 30Aug returning the following day.
Rank Group Global Express N18WZ departed Auckland 01Aug for Honolulu and Newark, returning to Auckland via Honolulu 05Aug. From Auckland to Essendon 23Aug, then Essendon to Auckland and Sydney 24Aug for maintenance.
Royal Australian Air Force General Dynamics F111 A8-113 departed Ohakea for Amberley as ASY241 01Aug following a navigation exercise around the South Island.
Air Nelson’s 17th Bombardier Q300 ZK-NET entered service 02Aug as NZ8148 from Nelson to Wellington.
Air Nelson’s retired Saab 340A ZK-FXB at Nelson 02Aug with its final revenue flight being NZ8101 from Wellington.
Network Jets Falcon 2000EX N185G departed Auckland for Apia and Maui 02Aug. From Maui to Lanai and return 04Aug, then the same again on 06Aug. From Maui to Apia and Auckland 19Aug.
Royal Australian Air Force General Dynamic F111’s A8-138 and A8-144 carried out South Island navigation exercises 02Aug, and then departed Ohakea for Amberley 03Aug.
Professional Jet Aviation Citation VII VH-DHN departed Auckland for Sydney 02Aug having arrived on 31Jul.
Business Jets Falcon 900EX N146EX arrived into Auckland from Brisbane 03Aug. From Auckland to Brisbane 14Aug and back to Auckland 22Aug.
Air National Australia Challenger 850 VH-LEF made its first visit to NZ when it arrived at Auckland from Sydney 05Aug. To Rotorua and its home base of Essendon 07Aug. The 850 is a corporate version of the CRJ-200 Regional Jet and is owned by Linfox Aircraft Charter.

Air Nelson Saab 340A ZK-NLT made a brief visit to Nelson 06Aug on its return journey from Rarotonga, arriving from Tonga and continuing to Nelson. The Saab has been on dry lease to Air Rarotonga.
Air New Zealand Boeing 767-300 ZK-NCK positioned from Auckland to Cairns and Townsville as ANZ6001 07Aug. From Townsville, the aircraft flew to Honiara as ASY111 and then positioned back to Auckland as ANZ6002. This marked the first occasion Air NZ had visited the Solomon Islands. From Auckland to Honiara 17Aug as ANZ6003, then to Sydney as ASY112 and home to Auckland as ANZ6004.
Pelair Westwind VH-NGA arrived into Auckland from Nadi 07Aug on a medivac flight. Onwards to Sydney the same day.
Pacific Jets Citationjet CJ3 ZK-TBM flew from Christchurch to Auckland, Napier and Invercargill 07Aug. From Invercargill to Dunedin and Christchurch 08Aug. From Christchurch to Napier 09Aug. From Christchurch to Auckland and return 14Aug, and from Christchurch to Hokitika and return 17Aug carrying passengers off Gulfstream 550 HB-IGM that had arrived into Christchurch 16Aug from Essendon.
Royal Australian Air Force Lockheed C130J Hercules A97-464 flew into Whenuapai from Richmond 07Aug as ASY693. It carried out a navigation exercise 08Aug, which saw it visit Woodbourne, Hokitika, Queenstown, Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington and Napier. To Amberley 09Aug.
Air New Zealand Boeing 767-300 ZK-NCO departed Auckland for Richmond 08Aug as ANZ6023 for repaint into the colours of Flyglobespan. It returned to Auckland in full livery 21Aug. The aircraft carried out an acceptance flight 31Aug as ANZ6311. It was planned that the aircraft would depart for Darwin and Abu Dhabi 03Sep where additional pre-delivery work was to be carried out.
Jetcity Learjet 35 VH-JCR visited Auckland 08Aug, arriving from Adelaide and continuing to Suva. From Nadi to Auckland and Melbourne 10Aug. From Adelaide to Sydney, Auckland and back to Sydney 25Aug, then later the same day from Coolangatta to Suva and back to Brisbane. From Melbourne to Auckland, Nadi and back to Auckland 27Aug, then home to Melbourne 28Aug.
Air National Corporate Westwind II ZK-RML flew from Tauranga to Auckland 09Aug. From Auckland to Essendon 17Aug returning to Auckland 20Aug.
Piper PA34 VH-JAQ, recently imported by Peter Upton Limited, flew from Ardmore to Kaitaia 10Aug. It was noted back at Ardmore later in the month.
Gandel Investments Global Express VH-TGG made its first visit to Auckland 11Aug, arriving from its Essendon home and departing just before midnight to Brisbane carrying music artist Bob Dylan. It returned to Auckland from Perth 24Aug and overnighted, then continued to Coolangatta 25Aug.
Pacific Aerospace XL750 ZK-JQE arrived at Kerikeri from Norfolk Island 12Aug. After clearing customs the aircraft continued to Rotorua.
Prime Aviation Hawker 800XP VH-KEF made a techstop at Auckland in the early hours of 13Aug, arriving from Essendon and then heading off to Papeete. It made another techstop at Auckland on 20Aug, arriving from Papeete and Rarotonga and then home to Essendon.
Falcon 900 VP-CFR arrived at Auckland from Phuket via Port Moresby 13Aug. The aircraft was hangered at Auckland and departed 26Aug for Queenstown, Brisbane and Hamilton Island.
Andersson Business Jet AB Falcon 900EX SE-DJM arrived at Auckland from Melbourne 15Aug, having arrived into Melbourne on 13Aug. From Auckland to Honolulu 17Aug.
Piper PA44-180T Seminole ZK-MBN departed Norfolk Island for Lord Howe Island 15Aug on export from New Zealand. ZK-MBN was one of three aircraft imported in 1990 for use by Massey University School of Aviation at Palmerston North.
Magenta Aviation Boeing BBJ VP-BEL made a techstop at Auckland 16Aug, arriving from Woodbourne and heading off to Singapore. The aircraft had undergone maintenance with Safe Air since its arrival on 31May.
Hawaiian Airlines Boeing 767-300 N580HA ferried into Auckland from Honolulu as HAL9981 18Aug. This is the first of 18 aircraft to visit Air New Zealand Technical Operations to carry out heavy maintenance over a 5-year contract period.
Netjets Gulfstream 450 N450QS arrived at Auckland from Kona and Nadi 18Aug. From Auckland to Nadi 23Aug, and then to Kona and Honolulu 24Aug.
Brenzil Pty Falcon 2000EX VH-CRW, recently re-registered from VH-CRQ, arrived at Auckland from Brisbane 18Aug before heading to Taupo. To Napier 20Aug then to Auckland and back to Napier 23Aug. From Napier to Brisbane 28Aug.
Pacific Aerospace FU24-950 Fletcher PK-PNB, ex ZK-JAL, which was de-registered on 06Aug, departed Hamilton for Lord Howe Island 21Aug on the first leg of its delivery flight to Indonesia. It will be followed by PK-PNC, ex ZK-EGU, in the coming weeks.
Air Lake Lines Gulfstream 3 N610AB, owned by singer Bob Dylan, positioned from Christchurch to Auckland 23Aug. The Gulfstream had arrived at Christchurch from Kona and Apia 07Aug as ‘TAG399’. Due to the aircraft’s noise category, Mr Dylan was transported in NZ for his concert by GIV ZK-KFB, and to, around and from Australia in Global Express VH-TGG. From Auckland to Nadi Honolulu and Oxnard 28Aug.
Glenorchy based Pilatus PC6 Porter ZK-JML was noted at Ardmore undergoing routine maintenance 23Aug.
Royal Air Force Lockheed L1011 Tristar ZD948 jetted into Auckland just prior to 0400 on 23Aug from Brunei and Sydney as Ascot 3730. The aircraft is flying around the world on Exercise Longlook that had originated at Brize Norton and flown to Muscat then to Brunei etc. From Auckland to Honolulu 25Aug as RRR3731, then its journey continued to Denver, Gander and Brize Norton.
Pacific Aerospace XL750 ZK-JNA departed Hamilton for Brisbane 24Aug on the first leg of its delivery flight.
Rangiora based Piper PA46-310P Malibu N9099Z flew from its home to Ardmore and Pauanui 24Aug. It departed Pauanui for Rangiora 25Aug however diverted to Hamilton with an electrical failure. It later proceeded back to Pauanui where it overnighted before departing 26Aug for Rangiora.
Norfolk Island was closed due to low cloud 26Aug and this event saw Ozjet Boeing 737-200 VH-OZU, operating as OZJ3331 from Brisbane to Norfolk Island diverted to Auckland. The classic 737 departed a couple of hours after it had arrived for Norfolk Island.
Airwork’s 3rd Boeing 737-300 freighter for operations in Australia arrived at Auckland from Honolulu via Pago Pago 27Aug in the form of N519AU, a former US Airways machine. The aircraft has been at Miami undergoing conversion to a freighter and departed there for Long Beach and Honolulu in an overall white scheme with Toll titles. The aircraft will be registered ZK-TLC before heading across the Tasman to join ZK-TLA and ZK-TLB. A second ex US Airways machine, N520AU, is due to arrive in the next few weeks with it arriving at Miami on 14Jun.
Royal New Zealand Air Force Lockheed C130H Hercules NZ7002 was contracted to uplift an elevator from Christchurch to Auckland 28Aug in support of the end of lease work being carried out on ex Air New Zealand Boeing 767-300 ZK-NCO.
Auckland Air Charter Learjet ZK-XVL departed Ardmore 31Aug for the Hauraki Gulf and was later noted operating from Whenuapai.
