Trick or Treat?
Day before yesterday we shared the video of the last ever flight of the Avro Vulcan as XH558/G-VULC.
So it is with much pleasure we have this treat for you on this Halloween day thanks to Gavin Conroy who has provided us with just a snippet of what he was able to capture during his recent once in a lifetime opportunity air-to-air photo sortie with this amazing aeroplane.
We also stumbled upon the following link detailing the down under antics of the Avro Vulcan during its time with the RAF:

US Air Force Airlift Ops in Antarctica | Documentary Film | 1961
The cover photo disguises the fact this film has no reference whatsoever to the venerable C130 however it does detail the C-124 Globemaster activities back in 1961.

Some more shots taken during the few hours spent at Princess Juliana before we headed off to the ocean waves!
| It was great to catch this Amerijet Boeing 767-338ER-BDSF freighter turning up. Looking at the operator's schedule it will have originated from Miami and running about 2 hours late. |
| When I first saw the registration I thought it rang a bell and this airframe is none other than ex Qantas machine VH-OGA. http://www.aussieairliners.org/b-767/vh-oga/vhoga.html |
| This FEDEX arrival one the prize for lowest approach! |
