Boeing 727-21 VP-BAP - UPDATED with locally sourced images

A nice way to get the blog restarted is reporting the arrival into Auckland this morning of Malibu Consulting Corporation's Boeing 727-21 VP-BAP.

The VIP trijet arrived early this morning from Perth where it had spent the last couple of days having flown in from Colombo 18 October.

This is not the first visit to our shores by this 1967 beauty. It arrived at Invercargill on 18 October 2007 from Nadi and departed for Canberra 20 October 2007. It also visited Auckland and Wellington in January 1998 when registered N727LA with Carnival Cruise Lines/Funair Corporation.
