As for many Kiwis heading to the USA, Los Angeles was our first port of call and we were fortunate enough to score recently introduced service Boeing 777-300ER ZK-OKR for our Trans-Pacific flight! And how timely to receive a couple of photos in our inbox of said aircraft landing at LAX a couple of days prior on its first visit!
The rest of the images below are taken from our hotel room located a short distance from the north complex runways at LAX affording fantastic views of the aircraft on approach. More time could have been spent gazing from the 5th floor room but alas, other plans were afoot so here is just a 30min slice of activity observed on the afternoon of June 20th.
