Military Movers - November 2018

United States Navy Gulfstream 5 (C37A) 166375 arrived in Whenuapai 02 November 2018 from Canberra as "Navy VV375". It departed on the 3rd direct to Honolulu/Hickam.

Royal Australian Air Force Airbus A330MRTT A39-001 arrived in Auckland late 02 November 2018 from Brunei. It departed mid afternoon on the 3rd heading home to Amberley. The same aircraft returned to NZ 24 November jetting into Christchurch from Hickam as ASY806. 

French Navy Falcon Gardian 77 arrived in Auckland late 06 November 2018 from Tonga as FNY5431. It departed for points unknown early afternoon of the 8th. Later in the month it was noted at Honolulu and flew from there to Christmas Island and Papeete 16 November.


United States Marine Corp Gulfstream C20G 165152 arrived in Wellington early afternoon 10 November from Canberra as "GHOST52". It departed 13 November for Pago Pago and Honolulu/Hickam.


Chilean Air Force Boeing 767-300 985 arrived in Auckland late 18 November from Cairns and Port Moresby, venue for the biannual APEC leaders meeting. The 767 departed mid afternoon 19 November for Santiago.

Royal Australian Air Force Boeing C17 Globemaster III A41-209 arrived in Whenuapai 21 November from Port Moresby as ASY819. After a couple of hours on the ground it departed for Amberley.

Royal Australian Air Force Boeing 737-BBJ A36-001 arrived in Whenuapai late afternoon 22 November from Norfolk Island and Wellington as ASY370. It had flown from Canberra to Port Vila, Noumea and Norfolk Island the previous day. As per previous training details, it flew from Whenuapai to Queenstown, but this time landed and shut down before it continued to Christchurch and Canberra.

Royal Australian Air Force Alenia C27J Spartan A34-010 arrived in Whenuapai 23 November from Richmond as ASY861. A short time later it headed south to Woodbourne. The Spartan flew to Queenstown 24 November where it conducted a touch and go then continued to Invercargill. It then returned north to arrive back at Woodbourne. On the 25th it flew from Woodbourne to Whenuapai and Hobart. On 26 November it flew from Hobart to King Island and Richmond.

Royal Australian Air Force Challenger 604 A37-002 arrived in Wellington 25 November from Canberra as ASY373. It then flew from Wellington to Norfolk Island, then for an approach and overshoot at Whenuapai and back to Wellington on the 26th and home to Canberra 27 November.
