Ship Spotting!

A trip north of Auckland recently coincided nicely with the opportunity to participate in some ship spotting and catch up with the departure of Cunard Line's "Queen Elizabeth". While waiting for the cruise ship to depart a few local helicopters came and went from nearby Mechanics Bay and decaying cumulonimbus clouds made for an interesting backdrop.
