RAAF C17 pops into Wellington

Mid last month Wellington hosted a visit by a Royal Australian Air Force Boeing C17 Globemaster III delivering material for an ANZAC memorial and to also conduct a demonstration flight for the NZ Defense Force.

A second visit was made 10 March with A41-209 jetting in from Canberra as ASY440 and departing a couple of hours later for Amberley. It would appear this aircraft was delivering additional supplies for the memorial.

A41-209 makes its way to the military apron at Wellington after landing on runway 34.
