MRTT heads west

The Royal Australian Air Force Airbus KC30A MRTT A39-002 visiting NZ on a training exercise carried out a navigational exercise from Ohakea 16 March with the aircraft repeating its previous day's flying by heading to Christchurch for a brief landing then continuing to Invercargill for an approach and overshoot.  It then deviated from the previous day's route and flew direct to Auckland where it spent time on the ground before returning to Ohakea.

The morning of 17 March saw the aircraft depart Ohakea for Hobart, Melbourne and Amberley concluding its NZ visit.
