Malaysia Airlines Airbus A330 Freighter


Malaysia Airlines cargo arm, MAS Kargo, have infrequently popped into Auckland over the years using Boeing 747 freighters, most recently in October last year.

However yesterday saw the first visit to New Zealand of the Airbus A330-200 in a purpose built cargo configuration in the shape of  9M-MUB. It  turned up at Auckland in the small hours of 17 March  from Sydney as MAS6431 and after crew rest it departed just on dusk for Bangkok as MAS6432 making it very difficult to source locally based photos.
