Gulfstream G200 N658GA - 2007

September 2007 heralded the arrival of NZ's first resident Gulfstream G200. N658GA, c/n 158, arrived at Auckland on 08 September 2007 from Brisbane concluding its delivery flight with the owners on board taking in a number of European stopovers on its way from the USA. On 15 September it flew to Nadi returning to Auckland 22 September. It was then to fly several additional flights on its US markings before becoming ZK-RGB with Air National Corporate from 28 November. The Auckland based jet management firm operated the aircraft on behalf of the Bagnall Family and also made it available for VIP charter.

Its first flight under ZK marking was made on 29 November when it flew from Auckland to Rotorua and back and its first overseas trip as ZK-RGB was flown on 27 December 2007 with a flight from Auckland to Sydney.

Sadly ZK-RGB departed Auckland for the final time on 13 November 2011 and headed to the USA for sale with owners expected to take delivery of larger Gulfstream variant however this was not to happen. It was cancelled from the register 09 December and became N818TS. Under its new N marks the G200 skimmed through the Pacific region on 03 May this year flying from Saipan to Honolulu via Majuro.

NZ was to see two G200's as residents with N533GA (ZK-VGL not taken up) living in the country from 05 October 2010 through until 06 March 2012.
