Emirates cancelled two days in row - updated

There has been a notable absence of Emirates Airbus A380's these past two days with EK412/413 cancelled both 05 and 06 September on the Sydney-Auckland-Sydney legs.  It appears the 05 September trip was canned due to very late running on the Dubai-Sydney sector with the flight not arriving until late afternoon Sydney time, and Thursday's Tasman crossing was cancelled to provide an A380 for a photo shoot with a Qantas A380 as the two airlines announced their partnership plans.
