Vanuatu Visitors

Cessna TU206 N22629 (T206-0608567) was unpacked from a container at Ardmore at the beginning of February and today it was outside at Flightline bearing its new markings of YJ-RIR in preparation for its delivery flight to Vanuatu.

Departing from Christchurch 11 March was Air Vanuatu's sole ATR72-500 YJ-AV72.  The aircraft had arrived at Christchurch from Port Vila via Noumea on 14 February for a repaint with Air NZ.   The ATR initially flew a test flight on 11 March before departing on a direct flight back to Port Vila.
