"Relief" Arrives in Christchurch

The first consignment of chemical toilets arrived at Christchurch in the wee small hours of 11 March on board Southern Air Transport's Boeing 747-200 freighter N783SA operated on behalf of Malaysia Airlines.  The 747 had embarked from Pudong and made a techstop at Darwin as MAS6465.  It departed at lunchtime on a direct flight back to Kuala Lumpur.

Connie Kalitta Boeing 747-200 freighter N701CK is arriving Christchurch as I type this from Atlanta via Honolulu and the second of three Kalitta Jumbo's is enroute Atlanta to Honolulu and due into Christchurch mid morning Saturday.
