Sorenson Defiant N57KS

Arriving at Dunedin direct from Coffs Harbour 20 March was Sorenson Defiant N57KS.  The strange lines of this twin engine (centre line thrust) homebuilt bears the hallmarks of a Burt Rutan design.

N57KS has been in the region since 21 April 2010 when it arrived at Cairns from Pohnepei having crossed the Pacific from Sacramento Mather via Kona, Tarawa (but diverted to Lihue), a second thwarted attempt to get to Tarawa but returned to Lihue, and finally made it to Tarawa 12 April.
