Lockheed Martin F22 Raptor

The United States Air Force deployed two F22 Raptor "fifth generation" fighter aircraft to Avalon 2011 from Elmendorf AFB, Alaska supported by KC135 tankers and a C17 Globemaster III.  Regretably these aircraft remained static for the duration of the show, the result of insufficient display qualified pilots.
