Sounds Air second dedicated Pilatus PC12 has made landfall in New Zealand with the arrival of VH-MWO at Wellington after a direct flight from the Gold Coast 04 June. The ex Royal Flying Doctor Service aircraft has been undergoing overhaul and subsequent repaint at Redcliffe and positioned to the Gold Coast earlier in the week pending its Tasman crossing. During its time at Redcliffe the PC12 had its kiwi markings added - ZK-PLT - but for the delivery flight its VH markings were temporarily reapplied.
Meanwhile, ZK-PLS is operating the Westport run and ZK-PLZ is operating the Taupo services with it making a brief visit to Rotorua 04 June on what appeared to be a training detail. VH-PID is back at Wellington having arrived from Woodbourne 03 June and its time in NZ is understood to be nearing an end.
