Galaxies

In addition to Auckland resident Gulfstream G200 Galaxy ZK-RGB, visiting Galaxy B-KSJ arrived at Auckland from Queenstown on the afternoon of 10 February while the country's other resident Galaxy N533GA arrived at Auckland from its Hamilton base.

In addition to these two jets, other locals participated in ramping up activity around NZ skies with Citationjet CJ3+ ZK-TBM having a meteoric day flying Christchurch-Queenstown-Taupo-Auckland-Taupo-Auckland-Noumea-Auckland (!!) and Sovereign ZK-JTH flying from Queenstown to Auckland.  Citation 501 ZK-NBR from the Air National stable flew to Whitianga via an IFR let down in the vicinity of Great Barrier Island before returning to Auckland a couple of hours later. 

DHL/Tasman Pacific's Boeing 757 freighter G-BMRJ made a trip from Auckland to Noumea and back carrying a spare engine northbound for Air Calin's Airbus A320 F-OJSB which has been laid up for the last 36 hours.

And adding to the activity was RAAF Challenger A37-003 departing Wellington on its return to Canberra from where it had arrived the previous day carrying the Australian Defence Minister Stephen Smith.
