During the blog's time off air there's been a few military movers coming and going around the traps.
In addition to the Five Eye's visitors, the United States Marines for the third or fourth year in a row dispatched Lockheed MC130H Combat Talon II's to New Zealand for training exercises. 87-0023 as GACHO11 and 88-0191 as GACHO12 arrived in Whenuapai 15 April from Cairns having flown south from Kadena the previous day. The two Hercules then headed south to base themselves out of Woodbourne and conducted exercise activities across the lower North Island and much of the South Island using callsign GOOSE. The Talon's departed Woodbourne early 29 April for Ohakea, Amberley and Cairns and continued to Guam/Andersen 30 April.

Royal Australian Air Force C27J Spartan A34-001 arrived in Wellington 13 April from Richmond ahead of its planned participation at the Easter weekend airshow staged over Omaka. It crossed Cook Strait to Woodbourne 14 April and flew a practice routine the same day. The battlefield airlifter flew on two of the three days of the show but went unservicable and remained parked at Woodbourne until 19 April when it flew to Wellington and Richmond.

French Navy Falcon 20 Gardian 80 arrived in Wellington 23 April from Noumea. It headed back to Noumea 28 April.
