Whenuapai 22 August 2014

During our visit to the RNZAF base at Whenuapai 22 August to catch the two Texan II's departing we also caught up with two of 42 Squadron's Beech King Air 200's (NZ7121 and NZ7124) from RNZAF Base Ohakea and locally based Lockheed C130H Hercules NZ7003 from 40 Squadron.  The King Air's appeared to be in support of the Texan II's as both departed for Ohakea, while the Hercules may also have been flying in conjunction with the Texan's as it also headed to Ohakea.  It later departed Ohakea for Noumea as "KIWI 656".

The Kaman Seasprite NZ3601 is seen returning from its role as a communications and air-to-air photography platform for a Texan II flight over Auckland's central business district.

And one last shot for good measure!
