K5 Aviation's Airbus A319-115CJ D-ALXX into Auckland was a pleasant surprise. The corporate configured jet, using the callsign "Kayak 52", arrived from Bangkok via a techstop at Cairns.
K5 Aviation GmbH operated two additional A319CJ, OE-LGS and D-ALEX, plus three Globals, D-ARKO, D-AGEV and OE-IGS.
The most recent German visitor to our shores was Falcon 20 D-CMET during Operation Deepwave based out of Christchurch in June/July this year. However we do have a psuedo resident D registered machine in the form of Piper PA30 D-GPEZ. This aircraft arrived at its temporary home of Omaka, Marlborough, from Lord Howe Island and Wellington on 18 April 2013 and has been a resident ever since. It was most recently noted flying around Fiordland 24 August 2014 and arriving back at Omaka 03 September 2014.
