Stately Ladies

New Zealand's population of Douglas DC3's has been photographed over the weekend with the two ZK examples present at the Classic Fighters Airshow, Omaka on Saturday 30 March and N451SZ still static at Christchurch.

ZK-DAK, in the RNZAF colours and based out of Ardmore, flew a group of enthusiasts from the Auckland region to Omaka and was then busily employed not only carrying punters on scenic flights over the three day event but also employed by the RNZAF to provide a jumpship for the defence force's "Kiwi Blue" parachute team.

ZK-AMY made a day trip on the Saturday arriving from and returning to Christchurch.
