Friendly Flyover

Airwork Flight Operations, a long time operator from nearby Woodbourne, were able to provide one of the last two remaining Fokker FK27 Friendship's flying in NZ to participate in the flying display over the Easter weekend airshow at Omaka, just a few miles east of Woodbourne.   ZK-PAX flew a spirited display over the three day event and was greeted with much enthusiasm by the crowds assembled.  The FK27 has a long history in NZ and the display was a fitting tribute to its role in the development of air services to provincial NZ.
