What was once a regular event at Nelson has now become a novelty with international arrivals something of the past. However on 18 February Falcon 2000 VH-CRW arrived mid afternoon direct from its Brisbane base. We believe this to be the first visit by VH-CRW (Craggy Range Winery) to Nelson.

Nelson is of course home to Air New Zealand Link carrier Air Nelson and over the decades numerous aircraft have been delivered from overseas ports direct to Nelson, as was the case for the Origin Pacific with their Jetstream fleet. And corporate jet visitors were once numerous with locally based Goodman Feilder Watties operating a Falcon 200 ex Nelson and one of Brierley Investments high flyer's used to see their Falcon 900 arrive internationally on a regular basis.
