Air China Inaugurates NZ Services

In September this year Air China and Air New Zealand announced a new strategic alliance to boost airline capacity between Auckland and mainland China by more than 25 percent. As part of the alliance, Air New Zealand will continue to fly daily Auckland-Shanghai flights using Boeing 787-9's while Air China will operate daily services between Auckland and Beijing with the first of these flights being flown on 10 December with Airbus A330-200 B-5932 arriving as CA783 and departing as CA784.

Schedules show flights will reduce to four per week from 28 March. 
As of 14 December New Zealand will be serviced by the following Chinese airlines:
