Aluminium Overcast

Last month we had a family holiday Stateside - interesting to visit during their winter time for change! It wasn't a plane spotting trip but it would have been great considering the clear skies and low sun angle. Pity the hours of daylight are so short!

During the brief time at LAX swapping over rental vehicles 05 January we caught up with some of the Airbus A380 aluminium overcast as they drifted down to the north complex. The first encounter was a long shot of an Emirates machine as we whistled towards the airport as seen in the first snap.
