Nostalgia Part Five

Boeing 737-214 ZK-NAL (20158) was delivered to the National Airways Corporation in 1974 having first flown with PSA as N985PS.  The aircraft remained in service with Air NZ until 1981 when it was bought by Polaris Holdings and registered N4264Y.  It later went onto become N460AC with AirCal then American Airlines and Braniff before returning the Pacific region with Air Tungaru as T3-VAL in 1991.  It returned Stateside as N460AC a couple of years later and then flew with Conquest Airlines and then became N460AT with airTran Airways.  It was ultimately broken up at Opa Locka, Florida in 2000.
Arriving at Christchurch 15 September 1974. Notice the kiwi aft of the forward entry door!
