New bizjet for Down Under

Falcon 50 N343PM arrived at Brisbane 30 March concluding its delivery flight from the USA that originated at Van Nuys and made techstops at Honolulu and Pago Pago.   This aircraft has been imported to Australia and will be operated by Pionair Australia Pty and is understood will take up the registration marks VH-FOL.

Pionair Fleet

The Pionair fleet of Convair 580 cargo aircraft have a payload of up to 7000kgs and with their self-sufficient APU they have the flexibility to go places aircraft of their size usually cannot go. Domestically there are more than 150 destinations Pionair Australia are capable of servicing.

From April 2011, Pionair will also be operating a Falcon 50 Executive Jet equipped to carry up to 11 passengers or to operate in the medivac role and capable of operations throughout the region, or globally as required. This aircraft will be based in Brisbane.

It made its first visit to NZ on 04 April arriving at Queenstown late morning from Brisbane.
