Sat 18 - Sun 19 July 2009

Firstly, some information to correct previous blog entires. Sincere thanks to those providing these details:

US Coast Guard Gulfstream 5, 01, visited Wellington in April 2004, arriving on the 12th from Honolulu and departing 17th for Papeete.

Air New Zealand has visited Spain previously, all the way back in August 1992 at the conclusion of the Olympic Games held at Barcelona. The aircraft in question was Boeing 747-219 ZK-NZW which flew from Frankfurt to Barcelona, then to Los Angeles, Honolulu and arriving at Auckland 14 August. I presume the aircraft arrived at Frankfurt on the airline's scheduled flight from Los Angeles as NZ18.

Kiwi Air Pacific Aerospace 600 Cresco ZK-LTP returned to NZ today following over a year around Australia on geophysic work. It touched down at Auckland mid afternoon from Griffith and Lord Howe Island before continuing to the operator's base at Gisborne.

Gulfstream 450 VP-CFB arrived at Auckland early evening from Perth where it has spent the last month having arrived from Male 21Jun.
