USAF C17 02-1104 departed Christchurch for Honolulu concluding C17 flights to Antarctica for 2008. A C17 will be re-deployed to Christchurch from early January to recommence operations to the ice.

Airwork FK27 Friendship ZK-PAX was noted flying from Auckland to Woodbourne using its registration as callsign.
Airwork Boeing 737-200 freighter ZK-NQC resumed scheduled operations tonight flying from Auckland to Christchurch and back as PST41/42. Boeing 737-300 ZK-TLB also flew two returns from Auckland to Christchurch thanks to Christmas demand.
Piper PA44 Seminole ZK-EQY, a long term Ardmore resident and seldom seen flying, departed for Kerikeri this afternoon and is expected to depart for Norfolk Island 16Dec on its delivery flight to Australia.
Air National took delivery of BAe 146-200 C-GRNX with the aircraft touching down at Auckland to a water gun salute at 2119LT from Honolulu via techstops at Christmas Island, Apia and Tonga. The aircraft carries no markings. It is expected the aircraft will take up ZK-ECO.
