Air New Zealand's Airbus A321NEO ZK-NNC conducted its first visit to Wellington when it operated a special flight from/to Auckland on the morning of 30 January 2019. The larger single aisle member of the Airbus family was added to the network to cater for those disrupted from the previous day's fog closure of Wellington.
Meanwhile, the airline's 4th A321NEO ZK-NND MSN 8629 and wearing the test registration D-AVYL made its first flight 29 January 2019 from/to Finkenwerder as AIB629A. It is set for delivery in a couple of weeks time and will be closely followed by the first A320NEO ZK-NHA MSN 8715.
