The civilian manned North American Harvard and Yak 52 teams strutted their stuff proudly across the skies above Wanaka creating quite the spectacle.
Eleven Harvards gathered for a mass formation flight, ten civilian examples and the single RNZAF historic flight machine NZ1015/ZK-RNZ. Wonderful to see such a large number airborne at once. The Ardmore based Roaring Forties also conducted their polished display.
The Yak 52 team assembled from across the country and like the Harvards flew a very tight, professional routine. Fabulous to see!
