Following a two week tiki tour of New Zealand, Noumea based Aerospool Dynamic WT9 F-JSUB departed from Ardmore 20 November for Kerikeri and Norfolk Island on its homeward journey. The sports category aircraft arrived in New Zealand 31 October in company with Vans RV8 F-PMHJ and the two journeyed together across much of the country focusing their South Island experience at Fernside, home of Drake Aviation Ltd - the Australasian distributor of the Aerospool Dynamic. This is where the RV8 had a nose gear issue on 09 November causing significant damage and necessitating what appears to be a fair amount of remedial work before it will take to the skies again.
