Spectacular weather greeted much of New Zealand for the first day of winter and the clear skies and moderate temperatures were greatly appreciated by the crowds gathered at Auckland's Ardmore airport to watch the NZ Warbirds 70th Anniversary of D-Day open day and informal airshow.
