Military Movers

Ohakea has again played host to a USMC Lockheed KC130J from VMGR-152 squadron.  166514 arrived at Ohakea from Tonga as SUMO41 on 17 March and departed today, 19 March for Pago Pago.

In addition to the Hercules arriving over the weekend, two RAAF Beech King Air 350's, A32-343 and A32-349 arrived at Whenuapai 17 March from Hobart and Dunedin.

Today, 19 March, Chilean Navy Lockheed UP3 Orion 404 stopped at Wellington on its way from Papeete to the Safe Air maintenance facility at Woodbourne.   The last visit by a Chilean Navy was from 02 October 2010 until 07 June 2011 when 407 underwent heavy maintenance.
