The South Pacific Games are currently underway at Noumea, New Caledonia (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Pacific_Games) and the international airport at Tontouta has been hectic with participants arriving from across the region onboard specially designated flights operated by Air Pacific (Boeing 737-800), Air Tahiti Nui (Airbus A340-300), Solomon Airlines (Airbus A320 on its first passenger flights for the airline) and Air Vanuatu (ATR).
French President Sarkozy and a large entourage coincided a visit to New Caledonia with the open cermony for the Games and flew in on military Airbus A310, A330, A340 and Falcon 7X.
