As was elluded to earlier, a Kamov KA32 helicopter arrived at Ardmore just after 0930 Sat 15 Jan from the Ports of Auckland in the form of
HL-9470 construction number 9813. The KA32 had arrived at the Port marked as PK-JTC (
http://aerostarjet-aviation.com/?m=heavy) and underwent a registration change this morning. This odd ball flying machine is to undergo an inspection by Korean authorities this coming week before being delivered to Lyttleton where it will meet with a ship and head to Antarctica.
To aid the crew in flying to Ardmore, Flightline Aviation's Robinson R44 ZK-HCY flew in formation with the Kamov.
