Wed 23 April - Fri 25 April 2008

An addition for 21April to start with. Pacific Aerospace 750XL ZK-FNZ departed from Hamilton for Lord Howe Island and Towoomba. After overnight, its continued to Cairns and Port Moresby.

Also, 22April saw Air Chathams Convair 580 ZK-CIF arrived at Auckland at 0004 from Suva.

Wednesday 23 April 2008
The V8 supercars from the previous weekends races at Hamilton were uplifted today with Atlas Boeing 747-400 freighter N492MC tasked with the job on behalf of Qantas. It arrived into Auckland from Avalon and departed for Brisbane.

Royal Air Force Lockheed C130K XV301 departed Wellington for Brisbane, and continued to Darwin 24Apr as "Ascot 5221".

Cessna 152 N5549H was uncrated at Nelson today and will be registered ZK-MDF.

Citation Mustang N2243W was noted flying from Alexandra to Hastings.

Thursday 24 April 2008
Gulfstream 200 ZK-RGB flew from Queenstown to Auckland late afternoon.

Norfolk Air, operated by Ozjet, flew the second and final special flight from Norfolk Island to Hamilton and return this afternoon carrying a respectable 80 passengers inbound and a light load of 47 outbound but a good load of cargo. Their Boeing 737-200 VH-OZD was again used for the flights. Mike Condon photos.

HF Express Citation X N48HF arrived at New Plymouth late afternoon from Canberra via Auckland. Wayne Grant snapped it arriving at Auckland.

Citation CJ3 ZK-TBM flew from Christchurch to Wellington.

Air NZ Boeing 767-300 ZK-NCG flew the carrier's final flight on the Nadi-Los Angeles service as ANZ18.

Thomsonfly's Boeing 737-300 G-THOE departed Christchurch for Cairns as "TOM9733" on its return to the UK following its dry lease to Air New Zealand. Its last flight with Air NZ was 18Apr as NZ559 from Auckland to Christchurch. The aircraft had arrived in Christchurch back on 06Nov07 from Luton via Shannon, Gander, Winnipeg, Los Angeles, Honolulu and Apia, and entered service 10Nov07 as ANZ508 from Christchurch to Auckland.

Great Barrier Island's Trislander G-RHOP was noted landing at North Shore.
