An upbeat reporting period with a number of visitors of which quite a few were first timer's to our shores. The Chinese New Year certainly helped bolster the numbers.
Affiliated Managers Group Inc Falcon 900 N993AM departed Auckland 12 February for Napier. It then continued onto Queenstown the next day. On the 15th it made the short flight across the Cardrona Saddle to Wanaka where it spent a few hours before heading to Kerikeri. It returned to Auckland 18 February for a techstop on its way to Honolulu then onto Boca Raton/FL the next day.

Waylawn Ltd Global 5000
M-ANGO departed Auckland for Rotorua early afternoon 12 February but its trip was cut somewhat short with it returning to Auckland after its destination airport was closed following a security incident. The Global successfully made its way to Rotorua late afternoon.
From Rotorua to Nelson 13 February then onto Christchurch 15 February. It then made its way to Queenstown 17 February from where it departed 21 February for Adelaide and Singapore/Seletar. It arrived home in Tel Aviv 22 February.

Kaiserair Inc Gulfstream 4 N608CL flew from Napier to Auckland 12 February then to Melbourne 15 February. It departed Melbourne for Nadi and Kona 17 February.

VH-OAA arrived at Auckland 13 February from Essendon and Melbourne marking its first visit to New Zealand. It then flew onto Wellington 20 February from where it departed 22 February destined for Brisbane.

VH-URR arrived at Auckland 13 February from Brisbane via Orange and Sydney. It departed on return to Brisbane 14 February.
Business Aviation Solutions Challenger 601 VH-JEC arrived at Napier direct from Essendon 14 February. It departed on return to Essendon 16 February.
Aircraft Operations Ltd Global 5000 M-CVGL arrived at Auckland 15 February from the Sunshine Coast marking its first visit to New Zealand. It had been parked at the Sunshine Coast since turning up on 28 January from Manila.

BDAG 7X LLC Falcon 7X
N113BD arrived at Taupo 16 February having flown from Wilmington/DE via White Plains/NY, Honolulu and Auckland. Another first time visitor to New Zealand. This aircraft was only recently added to the FAA register having previously flown as M-YORK. It then flew from Taupo to Wellington 18 February and onto Sydney 20 February. It flew from Sydney to Gunnedah and back 23 February then onto Cairns the same day. It departed Cairns at noon 25 February for Papeete, San Jose/Costa Rica and White Plains/NY.

Marcplan Gulfstream G450 VH-MBP arrived at Auckland 16 February from Essendon. It departed for Dunedin 17 February where it spent several hours before heading to Brisbane. From Brisbane to Auckland and onto Essendon 19 February.
Metrojet Gulfstream G650 B-KEY concluded its NZ visit departing Auckland for Hong Kong 17 February.
Helair Holdings Global Express N12G departed Auckland 17 February for Gisborne and continued to Queenstown 18 February. It departed for Melbourne 20 February.
G550 Ltd Gulfstream G550 M-ONEM flew from Melbourne to Auckland and Kaitaia 18 February. The jet had arrived in Australia on 11 February touching down at the Gold Coast from Cape Town via a techstop at Perth. It then flew to Sydney 13 February and onto Essendon 16 February before making the short hop to Melbourne 17 February. It flew from Kaitaia to Queenstown 20 February then to Rotorua 23 February. It departed Rotorua late 24 February heading direct to Honolulu. By 26 February the G550 had arrived at Heviz-Belaton, Hungary!

B-5818 arrived at Auckland 22 February from Melbourne where it had arrived two days earlier from Brunei. It departed Auckland for Sydney 24 February and to Darwin 26 February from where it headed direct to Kunming 27 February.

VH-LEF arrived at Wellington 23 February from Essendon. It returned to Essendon 24 February. First visit by this aircraft to New Zealand having only been delivered to Australia in December 2017 replacing a Challenger 604 of the same registration.

N473K arrived into Auckland 25 February from Sydney. The trijet had made its way across the Pacific 21 February arriving at Nadi from San Diego/Brown Field then continued to Sydney 22 February. From Auckland to Napier 26 February then the short hop to Taupo 28 February.

N604AU arrived at Queenstown 26 February from Sydney marking its first visit to NZ for 2018.
M Sky Services Global 5000
N2QE arrived at Auckland 27 February from Hong Kong via a tech stop at Davao. On reaching NZ airspace the Global was observed descending visually to an area off the Northland east coast to check out the Volvo Ocean yacht race participants as they headed towards Auckland, with the Global's operator also being the owner of team "Scallywag".
First visit to NZ by this South East Asian domiciled Global.
