Sydney 09 February 2009

An opportunity arose for a brief visit to Sydney International today with a quick stop to the observation deck to coincide with the arrival of V Australia's first Boeing 777-300ER VH-VOZ touching down on Australian soil for the first time. It first revenue service from Sydney to Los Angeles is set to take off 27Feb with Brisbane-LA following in April, Melbourne-LA in September and Sydney-Johannesburg at a date to be advised.

Air Niugini operate services to/From Sydney with this Boeing 757 P2-ANB. Its seen here on pushback, but later returned to the ramp before departing some 30mins later.


Etihad operated Airbus A340-600 A6-EHJ touching down.




Another A6 machine, this time Emirates A380 A6-EDC taxis for departure heading to Auckland, first visit by this particular aircraft.
