Jetstar Regional Takes Flight

Jetstar's regional New Zealand operation took to the skies 01 December flying Dash 8-Q300's from Auckland to Nelson and Napier.

The first scheduled passenger service was flown by VH-SBI as JQ350 (callsign Southern Cross 350) from Napier to Auckland and the same aircraft flew the first Auckland to Nelson flight as JQ371 a couple of hours later. VH-SBI had positioned from Auckland to Napier on the evening of 30 November.
