Jetstar positioned Airbus A320-232 VH-VQD to Auckland from Sydney as JST7990 prior to the commencement of scheduled services 28Apr. The aircraft spent time in the Air National hanger for a special function and perhaps ground handling training as Air National/Sky Care have the contract to provide such services.
Virgin Boeing 737-800 VH-VOC departed Christchurch in the early hours of this morning for Melbourne while Boeing 737-700 VH-VBS arrived at Christchurch from Melbourne for maintenance.

Jetstar commenced daily services from Auckland to Sydney and the Gold Coast today with Airbus A320-232 VH-VQD.
Kiwi Air Reims/Cessna 406 ZK-XLF departed Wellington for Auckland and Tonga as "Aircorp 1" for calibration work in the Pacific Islands.

Falcon 900EX G-SIRO arrived at Auckland from Nadi this evening and was promptly hangered. It had arrived at Nadi from Sydney 27Apr.

Jetcity Learjet 35A VH-LJJ made a brief appearance at Auckland in the early hours of Thursday, arriving from Adelaide via stops at Norfolk Island, Rarotonga and Tonga. It continued onwards to Melbourne.

Emirates operated the Boeing 777-200ER through Auckland today with A6-EWG flying the EK412/413 service from/to Sydney. As from Sunday 03May EK412/413 will become Airbus A380 on a daily basis.
